An obsession with films of all genres can propel someone to really work hard and attempt to make her own masterpiece. This is what happened to one of my classmates in high school. I am really sure when such obsession started for her but when we were younger I was so amazed by her knowledge about television shows and movies. At that the only thing which really captured my interest was the slew of cartoon shows. In her case, it was completely different with her making commentaries on the various movies that she watched. The thing is that she would not only comment on the looks of the actors and actresses who made us feel giddy. She would oftentimes say something about the flow of the story and even some technical matters such as the lighting and the likes. We were elementary students at that time. When we were already in high school, she would shoot some footage then would make up a storyline for it. She would then put it all together using her pc and it would often come out very good. Some are so thought provoking that we would often discuss the films afterwards. When she decided to study filmmaking, she perused the USC film school reviews as guide. She wanted to have all the information and the feedback about the carious film schools. She was that serious about it. She would often pronounce that someday she will make it big in the field of filmmaking. With her talent, I believe she can really do it.

My wife and I have decided that we are going to meet with a family lawyer so that we can get all of our affairs in order just in case something were to happen to one of us. When I was a child, I had a really close childhood friend. He was really nice. But while growing up we started to like different things and he started acting “cool.” He suddenly became cool and I was left out. You think it only happens in TV series? It happens in real life as well. I started to not care about our friendship as well. Then, my family moved to another city. He didn’t even send me off or anything. In our new city, I found some new friends. I had a happy life and everything was going smoothly. I felt really lucky. In fact, I even got one of those film school scholarships. It seemed like everything was falling into place. Then one time, my parents and I visited our grandparents back in our old city. I wasn’t really expecting to see anyone but I surely hoped some friends would recognize me. But it seemed like I’m a new girl. Some guys stare. Other people looked like they were trying to remember me but no one really approached me except for that childhood friend of mine. He talked to me like we didn’t have any gap. He told me that I looked great and that he was expecting me to come. Grandpa told him about our return. We stayed there for a week. For that whole week, we just hang out like we were kids.
